Questions
What can I play for free?
Garden Escapes includes 8 places to explore for free. Daily Discovery is also free, including its scheduled guest visits to other worlds. Each paid world offers a first-round preview before you decide to buy.
Are the other worlds a subscription?
No. The 9 additional worlds are separate, permanent in-app purchases, with 8 places in each. The Complete Collection unlocks all 9 in one permanent purchase; the game offers it only while it costs less than buying the worlds you don’t own yet one at a time. Check the price shown in the app for your country or region. There are no hint purchases or required ads to unlock hints.
Where can I play?
Little Hidden Wonders is made for iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 18.2 or later. The App Store listing will show availability and device compatibility when the game is released.
Can I play without an internet connection?
The current game bundles all world artwork, and normal searches and the daily puzzle work offline. You need a connection to buy or restore a world, use Game Center rankings, or exchange progress through iCloud. An offline daily records a local time; it does not give you a second attempt later.
How does Daily Discovery work?
There is one attempt each UTC day, with nine Standard targets and the same arrangement for everyone on the current content version. Six garden days are followed by a guest day in another world, even if you do not own that world. The daily rotation currently uses the original 40 places. The other 40, including all of Country Days, Artisan Lane, and Faraway Places, are available through world searches and previews, but are not yet in the daily rotation. Guest visits do not unlock the rest of a world.
The clock counts up, including pauses and time in the background. Each hint adds 20 seconds; each missed tap adds 5 seconds. Starting uses the attempt. Quitting or closing the game does not restore it, and a daily cannot be resumed. The next discovery opens at midnight UTC, and only runs finished before then count for rankings; the game warns you in the last 15 minutes.
Game Center rankings require an eligible App Store or TestFlight build, a configured leaderboard, and a connection to Game Center. Otherwise the same daily can be played for a local time. If you are signed in but ranking is unavailable, the game asks before starting a local-time run, because that run also uses the day’s attempt.
Can I play without a timer?
Yes, in ordinary world searches. In Settings, choose Easy, Standard, or Expert and turn Optional countdown off. The shared Daily Discovery has its own timed rules and does not use that setting.
How do I find a tricky object?
Use picture clues, pan around the scene, or zoom in for a closer look. Tap Compass, then tap the picture to place a directional clue toward a remaining object. Reveal brings an object into view and marks it with a pulse. Both hints become available again after their cooldowns. Hints are free; in Daily Discovery each use adds a time penalty.
What is saved, and what travels between devices?
Your settings, discoveries, and an active ordinary world search are saved on your device. When iCloud is available, discoveries and best results can merge between devices using the same Apple Account. An active search stays on the device where you started it; it does not transfer through iCloud.
Before reinstalling, contact support if you are worried about your progress. Removing the app can remove local saves. iCloud progress and Keychain daily-attempt records may remain, so reinstalling is not a complete reset.
How do I restore a world I already bought?
Use the same Apple Account that made the purchase, connect to the internet, then open the game’s Settings and tap Restore purchases. The Complete Collection restores the same way and unlocks every world it includes. A pending Ask to Buy request must be approved before the world unlocks. If something still looks wrong, email us with the world name and what the app says. Never send your Apple Account password or payment details.
How do I switch reminders on or off?
Open Settings → Little reminders in the game. Daily Discovery ready and An occasional nudge are optional. Notifications start only after you allow them. When the shared daily opens during your night (10 pm to 8 am local time), its reminder arrives at 9 am instead. You can turn either off in the game, or manage the app’s notifications in device Settings. Reminders are scheduled on your device.
Do I need Game Center?
No. You can play without signing in. Game Center adds achievements and daily rankings. Connect through the game’s Settings; when signed in, Friends & rankings opens the ranking view and Sync achievements retries achievement reporting. Check your Game Center settings on your device if your account is unavailable.
How do I manage my data or ask a privacy question?
See the Privacy Policy for local saves, iCloud, Game Center, and support email. Contact support@designfunstuff.com for access or deletion requests about information you sent to us. We do not have access to your Apple Account credentials or a developer-hosted copy of your game save.
Something is not working. What should I send?
Tell us your device model, iOS or iPadOS version, app version, the world and place you were exploring, and the steps that led to the issue. A screenshot is helpful if it contains no private information. If a purchase is involved, include the world name and any error message. Avoid deleting the app while we investigate a save problem.
