Privacy Policy
Little Hidden Wonders is an illustrated hidden-object game made by Design Fun Stuff LLC. This policy explains the game’s current data practices and this website. For privacy questions or requests, email support@designfunstuff.com.
At a glance
- You can play without creating an account with us.
- Game saves and settings are stored on your device. When iCloud is available, discovery progress and daily-attempt claims can be stored with Apple.
- Apple handles in-app purchases and optional Game Center features.
- The current game has no advertising SDK or external analytics service. Aggregate gameplay counters stay on your device.
- We receive information you choose to include when you email support.
On your device
The game stores settings, sound and haptic preferences, difficulty, reminder choices, discoveries, best results, achievements, daily history, purchase entitlement information, and an active ordinary world search. It also stores aggregate counters for actions such as completing a search. These counters are not uploaded to us or synchronized to iCloud.
The game creates a random installation identifier to distinguish progress snapshots. Daily-attempt records use the device Keychain to remember that an attempt was started or completed, including its date, run identifier, score state, and the associated Game Center player identifier when applicable. Keychain records may remain after the app is removed.
iCloud progress
When you are signed in and iCloud is available to the app, Apple’s iCloud key-value storage can hold discovery progress and best results so they can merge between your devices. Snapshots are associated with the random installation identifier. The game also uses iCloud daily-attempt claims to help prevent repeat attempts across devices.
An active world search and local engagement counters do not synchronize through this progress feature. Purchases are restored through Apple’s purchase system, separately from discovery progress. We do not run a server that receives or stores your iCloud game saves, and cannot retrieve them from your Apple Account.
You can manage iCloud access in your device’s Apple Account settings. Turning off iCloud access does not necessarily delete previously stored information. Apple controls the storage and deletion options available for its services.
Game Center
Game Center is optional. If you connect, the game uses Apple’s Game Center player identity, display name, achievements, and eligible daily results to provide achievements and rankings. A daily submission includes the result and information that identifies the applicable daily rules and content. Your Game Center profile and results may be visible to other players according to Apple’s settings.
Ordinary world searches and a local daily time remain available without Game Center. Manage your Game Center profile and privacy through your device settings. Apple processes Game Center data under its own privacy terms.
Purchases
Additional worlds are optional, one-time in-app purchases. Apple processes payments. The game receives verified transaction and entitlement information to unlock purchased worlds, restore purchases, and respond to refunds or revoked access. We do not receive your payment card number or Apple Account password.
Apple may provide developers with sales and financial reports through App Store Connect. These are separate from the game’s local progress records. Requests about an Apple payment or refund can be made through Apple Support.
Optional reminders
Daily and return-to-play reminders are optional local notifications. The game asks for notification permission before scheduling them. Preferences and scheduling state are held on your device. The current reminder feature does not use a developer-run push notification service. You can turn reminders off in the game or disable notifications in device Settings.
Artwork and network connections
The current release configuration bundles world artwork and generates its daily search from bundled content. It does not require an external content server for ordinary play. Purchases, Game Center, and iCloud can connect to Apple. The code also supports optional content downloads; if a future version enables a developer-hosted content service, this policy will be updated to describe that service’s data practices before use.
Support email
If you email us, we receive your email address, the contents of your message, any attachments you choose to send, and ordinary email metadata. We use that information to answer your request and investigate the issue. Do not include passwords, payment details, or unrelated personal information.
Our support mailbox uses Google Workspace. Our support process retains correspondence for up to 12 months after a case closes, deletes attachments when the case closes or within 90 days at most, and may retain technical notes that do not identify you. Information may be kept longer when needed to meet legal obligations or resolve an active dispute.
This website
This website uses no analytics, advertising, tracking pixels, third-party fonts, or third-party embedded media. It sets no cookies. Your animation preference can be saved in your browser’s local storage; you can remove it by clearing this site’s stored data. The little search on this website keeps found objects only in the current page’s memory.
The hosting server processes your IP address and request information to deliver pages. It keeps no access logs of visits. If a request fails because of a server fault, an error log can record that request, including the IP address; these logs rotate automatically and are used only to fix faults. Hostinger provides the hosting infrastructure.
External links, including Apple links and email links, take you to services with their own privacy practices.
Service providers
We share personal information only as described above: with Google, which hosts our support mailbox, and with Hostinger, which hosts this website. They process it on our behalf under data-processing terms that require them to protect it at least as well as this policy does. We do not sell personal information or share it for advertising. Apple’s services (purchases, iCloud, Game Center, TestFlight) are provided to you by Apple under Apple’s own privacy terms.
Your choices and requests
You can play without Game Center, manage iCloud and notifications in device settings, and clear this website’s browser storage. Removing the app removes its ordinary local files, but may leave iCloud records, Keychain daily-attempt records, Apple purchase history, and Game Center records. Reinstalling is not a complete data-deletion method.
Email support@designfunstuff.com to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information you sent to us, or to ask for help understanding your options. We may need enough information to verify the request. We cannot directly delete records controlled by Apple from your Apple Account; Apple provides the controls for those services. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights or a right to complain to your local privacy authority.
Children and families
We do not ask players to provide a date of birth, email address, or contact list to play. Purchases and Game Center can be managed using Apple’s family and parental controls. If a child has sent personal information to our support mailbox, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its removal. The App Store age rating and family settings should guide decisions about use.
TestFlight and diagnostics
If you test a TestFlight build, Apple may make test participation, crash information, usage information, and feedback available to the developer through TestFlight and App Store Connect. Apple can also provide diagnostic reports according to your device sharing settings. These Apple services have their own privacy notices. Do not include sensitive information in feedback or screenshots.
